Me and a few of my buddies are heading down to New Orleans for the Pats/Saints game in Sep. We want to get in a round of golf. I think we narrowed it down to either TPC New Orleans or Lakewood Golf Club. Can anybody recommend one over the other or any other courses you suggest? Thanks in advance.

Hey guys, Greg here in Lafayette. Any of you guys know someone locally who does headlight retrofits? I'd love to have this professionally done her in LA instead of buying aftermarket headlights when they come out or shipping them off.

 

Very few "professionally" do retrofits, most do it as a side gig in their kitchen. Can't think of anyone in LA doing them but you can probably find a cheap set to keep you driving while you wait.

 

Can anyone suggest a local place to do my headgaskets. I want it done correctly, but as inexpensive as possible Nola or anywhere between BR and Picayune preferably.
People always want something for nothing, right?

I asked on Cajun Yotas, but all I got was crickets. Thanks in advance.

Update, turns out my thermostat housing is leaking. I have to fix that first and then pressure test the cooling system.
I also did a thing... put newer black TSS wheels on my truck. The picture looks ok, but the truck looks so much better in person now. I'm considering taking the running boards off to see if I like the look better.

Hey guys, I wanted to see if this is the right place for this question. I'm from the New Orleans area, but have a camp outside Saint Joseph, LA near Kisatchie National Forest. My understanding is that Sicily Island is within there. I was wondering if anyone had been there and had any info on the trials/camping that's available. I've only been to the spillway before and was wondering about other places close by. If anyone knows anything that could help I'd appreciate it!

 

Sicily Island is about an hour from your spot, Catahoula Offroad and Recreation is the official name. It's a private park with a shower/bathroom but no other facilities. Tent camping or RV only. If you are not used to offroading I wouldn't go out alone, the trails have a wide variety of difficulty and it wouldn't be hard to find yourself in trouble.

Hahaha! I know the feeling. We need to start a club like 4.3 billion show jeeps in the 7 slut society..

 

Will be moving from Houston to Lake Charles in the next too weeks. If you see my truck come say Hi and lets grab drinks!
