Anybody have a recommendation for an AAL that will add the LEAST lift for my 3rd gen Tacoma?

I want to run 5100's at 1.55 or 1.75 in the front. The smallest AAL's i'm aware of (progessive or single) are all going to give me 1.5 in the rear too. I'm trying to minimize the factory rake, so i'd rather have a lift of ~1" max in the rear.

I'm aware of lift blocks, but would prefer not to put one in my Tacoma due to potential axle wrap, broken blocks, etc.

    Any suggestion...please let me know!

    Just some stuff...
Some people install progressive AALs on 1st gens and leave out the over load. That knocks out about half an inch.

I did that on my 2nd gen, and it still left about 1.5" of lift. With the overload in, it was around 2".

    1/2" shims from wheelers. It's basically a 1/2" block.

This is probably your best bet. Even a 1-1/2 aal will have way to much rake with the small amount of lift you want in the front.

    Anyone seen my wallet?
One inch block will be fine really, or shims mentioned above. I have a single deaver, with the weight in my bed its about and inch lift FYI.

Has anyone even taken a 3 leaf progressive pack and taken out a leaf or two?

FWIW I just installed an icon AAL without the overload and it only lifted 3/8 over stock (assuming stock is 22") And all I have for weight is a leer camper shell and a drawer that weighs no more than 50 lbs.

So you have about 200lbs, well that’s why you got less lift.

Obviously. It was a band aid but I was expecting a little more than 3/8”. I was just making a point that with a little bit of weight the progressive AAL will be an inch or less of lift. I feel it would work fine for the OP to level out a small front lift.

Sorry your post seemed to mean the opposite, like you were saying “all I got was 3/8 lift and only have a camper shell and 50lbs”. Little confusing by the way you worded things.
