Who else was awoken by the lovely scream of the weather radio at 4am? Tropical Storm Warning in Lee County and much of Eastern Alabama

 

Woke up around 3 and 5 but, not by the weather radio.

 

Too bad ain't no-one gonna be using CB no moah

 

That is one hell of a price for that shield. Been having mine for about 4 years now and not an issue so far, well balanced and not too heave when I conceal. You won't be disappointed Matt if you go for it.

All the cool guys use CB. Ham is basically the same thing with a lot more hassle. Better range, sure, but range is pointless when you're 20 feet from the guys you're talking to.

 

I think as long as 1 guy in the group has ham AND cb then we should be fine, I heard somewhere that you can set a ham to a cb frequency though

 

I'm just using both..

That looks clean man, you don't think that heat off that compressor will melt that plastic though? I think it has a decent shot. Might want put a steel plate over that plastic, like drill one in place

 

it's fiberglass! Not plastic. So it should hold up!! Ran it for 30 minutes straight so far with no issues!
