** please keep Politics out of this discussion please !!!

Okay with the options we've got being

    Fixed mag

    Featureless

    Registering

Which way are you looking to go ??

With the Option of making it a fixed mag are you concerned about clearing a miss feed knowing there's more steps involved now ???

I just picked up this ARMaglock and will be also getting the Patriot pin but the thought of dealing with a double feed situation I might just go featureless .... I dunno :notsure:

I have never used any post-2000 lower outside of just slow fire single feed usage (e.g. NRA 600 yard prone), and have stuck with my pre-2000 AW registered lowers for anything that requires a magazine change.

That being said, I would personally opt to register at least one gun post-2000 (and pre-2017) purchased lower under the 2016 law, which I will be doing. I think it would be beneficial in terms of options. If you prefer the featureless route, you can use any lower you bought post 2016.

I am not worried about it, they can all go to hell, if they come for me and my guns.... well lets just say I will be glad to show them what kind of ammo they are loaded with. Good luck.

All I've got is (1) AR and purchased new in Oct 2014 , It is also not a High end firearm as it it only a Omni Hybrid 1/7 NATO . I've yet to put any rds down range in it due to an injury that has sidelined me since then

I'm kinda late to the game on all what's happening with our AR's and just now making it compliant . I really didn't research to much about the Mag lock and how I found out about the issue with trying to clear a jamb with it . This is why now I might just go with a featureless set up

Decided to go with a Hera Arms CQR Stock and YSM Phantom muzzle brake

Will be replacing the forward grip with Magpul or Hera arms AFG

I'm going featureless on all my AR rifles. Unfortunately, I'll have to use the AR Maglock on my pistols. It's a pain in the ASS if you have malfunctions though. No way to eject the mag without breaking open the top and if you have a double feed, good luck! I was at the range the other week and my buddy was testing out his AR pistol and he had a bunch of malfunctions due to bad reloads. Boy was it frustrating.

I work with kydex so I made my own grip fins:

I also used kydex to lock my stock in The last position. When I go to a free state all I have to do is take out 3 screws, remove the compliant parts and I have a "normal" AR

Thorsdsen Stock. 10 rd Mag in a 30 rd case.
Flash hider has since been removed and replaced with a thread protector, pinned and welded.

You got that right. My only question is this: Will the 120,000 active and violent gang members in CA. be required to "submit and be compliant", or just us law abiding citizens?

I bet a lot of gun owners don't register and/or dumb down their AR's

I lost all mine in a boating accident.
