I really like it. Took me a bit to remember not to drag my leg across them when getting out with shorts on, got a few scrapes on the legs from them.... However i need to figure out how to get it on my kick outs... the tape doesnt want to bend with my kickouts.

You should be able to cut it into several strips, that makes it easier to put on bends. You can also cut the strip in half long ways, so there's not as much material to have to bend.

I heard having smaller kickouts helps a lot.

 

And you thought y'all bonded so well....

 

So would it be better to replace a head gasket or buy a low mileage engine and swap it.

There's been one on Craigslist here for 1500. But if your block isn't damaged I would thing replacing the head gasket is a better idea. It's a common problem with the 05-07 so there are plenty of threads here that can help you make that decision.

Huge thanks to @Suprajim54 and @Tundra2Play, who pretty much installed my front lift (5100's, 885's, 3/8 driver side spacer, 1/4 passenger side spacer) and ECGS bushing today as I tried to help a bit.



Alignment and tires in the next couple of days.

I cut off tailpipe a bit. Have clamp-on tip to give away if someone wants it.


Also noticed, on my neighbor's new truck, maybe the worst-looking wheel wells in existence.

 

I'd replace the head gaskets.

Back in Dallas after my Arizona expedition. Truck did great, however I'm fairly sure that the sway bar is hitting the lower spring cup, shouldn't have been lazy and neglected to install the drop kit I have for the sway bar before I left. That's #1 on the todo list after a good wash job.

Just remove the sway bar? I did on mine and have not noticed a difference at all.

 

I've got a drop kit sitting in my work room, just need to install it.

I did the drop kit at first, and then just ended up completely removing the sway bar after a while.
