double din help wated

    :facepalm:me: 2002 toy taco going from stock radio head unit to double din jvc kw-v120bt
    and I need: Dash mount kit, wiring harness, your advice and help. New here since two day ago and been looking each day for a right specific answer.

    I went to a double din on my 98 and I didn't need a dashmount kit. I took the bracket off the stock stereo and put it on my new one, then bolted it into the truck. Fit perfectly. And I got a wiring harness from walmart for like $12 or so. All the wire colors matched my stereo, it was super easy.

    dnt knw if it's me but I did go there, gave them my cars specs, and yet they didn't have what I want: Dash mount kit(brackets) for my 02 taco

    I would just google how to remove the stock stereo, it takes about 5 minutes to do.
    Then once it's out you can test fit your double DIN and see if it bolts up. That's what I did and it turned out to be 100% fit.

    I will definitely do that. Your taco and mine look similar. I just gotta post up a pic of it. That jeep in my profile pic is mine too though
