Anyone have one of the chinese double din units in there Toyota?

There are tons of options out there. Looking to 'upgrade' from stock on my 2000 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner. Anyone have one that has been reliable and works well? Decent quality? Thx for the help!

 

I like jvcs , pioneers and alpines. Double din with touch screen made me a very distracted driver. So single din for me.

I put an Avin Android double DIN in my 1st gen Tacoma about two years ago. It doesn't look like it is for sale any more, but there is a newer version. https://avinusa.com/gps-multimedia-systems/universal.html It is a Chinese imported radio, but Tommy at Avin does his own setup on it and the customer service was great. It was pretty easy to install. It stuck out just a few mm too far so I made the mounting holes on my stock radio brackets into more of a slot than a hole to be able to adjust it back some. If I ever replaced the Avin, I would consider units from Joying. They seem to have a lot of bang for the buck.

 

Are Joying and "Pumpkin" the same company? I usually see one or the other all the time on Amazon, and they both frequently go on sale.

 

Kenwood here. Supposed to be able to mirror my phone, but has happened yet.

I like Garmin which drove me in this direction.

 

I put this in and am very happy with it. Was able to get the factory backup camera working. Most of the steering controls work though there are a few it doesn't seem to recognize and programmable.

 

My Joying is also going strong, almost a year later...
