There's a "special test" for short beds vs long beds @ Black Mountain.

About 3 or 4 minutes out of the camp ground, it's an innocent LOOKING left off camber to right off camber narrow uphill 120 degree right hander that the short beds just cruise through it, and long beds have to do a couple forward/backward/forward/backward/forward moves to get around. Your "wannabe's" will be waiting for you at the top of the hill.....If we're willing to wait that long....

So Tire roar or wheel bearing -

Started to get a low groan at 55-60mph - Tires are somewhat at the end of their life span so could be the culprit?

any suggestions? Or had a similar problem?

 

IMO...I'd cross rotate the tires and possibly up the tire pressure to see if the noise changes or moves....otherwise it's up on the rack and stethoscope time.

 

Wrong sound for a wheel bearing. It's gonna be a higher pitch constant squeal. Diagnose it by swerving back and forth and taking a hard turn. If the sound goes away only in the turn, it's gonna be a wheel bearing

Hmm, Alright it seems like when the tire makes a full rotation down the road I get this noise. I'll try that tonight on the way home from work thanks Gid.

Things come up and money gets tight... plus discount tire put a D in my A and sold them underneath. Didn't tell me to put a deposit down (when I should of and I asked too). Some guy with a jEEp bought em....Cause I called multiple times about them. Just looking at settling on Falken wildpeak atw3 in 285's instead.

I just bought and installed headlights and taillights from them. I ran an extra bead of silicone around them before I put them in but everything looks good so far

 

Well, I have officially spent the last two hours going through receipts and documenting every single thing that has been done to my F350. This is the first time I have totaled what I have invested in this truck. My 2011 Toyota Tacoma TX Pro was $35K or so with tax, title and tag. I have officially exceeded the monetary amount of my Tacoma with what I have invested in this F350, including the price of the truck and the price of aftermarket performance parts. I have spent over $19,000 on this F350, and $18,937 being general performance parts. So if anyone is interested in getting out of their Tacoma and into my F350, please contact me. Also, if you know anyone looking for one of the strongest trucks possible that has been built merely on reliability, send them my way.

The last time I had the truck on a Dyno, it put down 530hp and 875ftlbs torque. Dyno charts are on the Craigslist add and I have videos of the truck being Dyno'd and walking straight up to the computer for proof of said data logged power upon request.
The last time I had the truck on the Dyno was before a fuel system, Bulletproof Diesel Ficm, and Built transmission, so obviously it is putting more power to the ground than at that time.
