I just put my bilstien 5100s on the front (not the back yet, later today or tomorrow) but i set them at 2.5 instead of 1.75. I did that because I said to my self go big or go home lol... my only problem is the UCA's (stock) are dropped so much (picture later) and there not touching the coil or tire but are close.. I will upgrade to after market UCA's in a month or two to fix the problem... but I was wondering if it's okay to run it like that for now? Side note I am not squaring my truck in a week or two I will order a lift for the rear thinking on a AAF or a block... what do you guys think and what UCA's should I get? Thank you

Looks good but already bought billies and put them on but what UCA's are you running? Do you think they would work for me?

Light Racing is the popular budget friendly UCA option and they are adjustable.

I believe Tuff country make some as well.

Then there is JBA. I have these since there are not uniball. I wanted the join protected from sand and salt since I frequent the beach and didn't want to keep lubing up the Uniball designed UCAs.

then you get into the the uniball designs like Total Chaos, Camburg, and Icon.

I have SPC Light Racing UCA. Great product, I have about 25K miles on them with no issues at all. Alignment is still spot on.

Hey all, I'm about to purchase a kit that comes with bilstein 5100 for the front. The options for the rear are toytec boss or bilstein 5100. Also should I do the Dakar leafs springs or toytec progressive add a leafs. The uca are either the total chaos uniball or the light racing. Any suggestions?

I have no experience with anything really except I put billies in the front only at 2.5 the rear is still stock but I have just the wheelers 1.5 AAL and I'm probably looking at camburgs ball joint UCA because it's 569 shipped from headstrong off road.... if I had the money I would do Dakar and total chaos... that would be a badass setup!

In the forums the dakar aal is one of the most popular, but there are other options out there and that's where I can't tell what would be better. I also think the total chaos are great BUT most people here get the light racing cause of price and ease of maintenance. Lmk what you decide and how it works for you. It would help me make a better decision.

Ok guys so I just got my truck done at the shop and got tires put on, so far I have billies all the way around with 2.5 set up front and the wheelers single 1.5 AAL in the back I was kinda on the edge of needing UCA and not needing them but I had some extra cash and decided to blow it and got camburg b/j UCA's... also just put 265/75/16 trail grapps on her... first impressions of everything is it is a decent amount stiffer but honestly not too bad, the tires have the perfect amount hum to them (not too loud but not quiet) it seems that it makes the steering lighter but you can tell the tires are a lot heavier (if that makes sense)... overall i love how it drives and IMO for the money it's probably the best way to lift a vehicle on a budget the top pick is before and the rest are after (FYI)IMG_5258.jpg IMG_6271.PNG.jpg IMG_6277.PNG.jpgIMG_6269.PNG.jpg IMG_6274.PNG.jpg IMG_6278.PNG.jpg IMG_6268.jpg
