    I am a arb fan had one on my truck previous to this. Over then 6 years I owned it I took out 2 Texas deer much smaller than up north but still 180lbs, 3 hogs different sizes, an a coyote. I drive all back roads for 45mi to work when I was on night shift. Never left any damage cept a bent license plate an broke a fog light once. I'm going to get one for the Tacoma eventually.

    ARB they air bag compatible. IMHO worth the suspension upgraded needed to carry the weight. There is a reason all the real EXPO truck from all over the world use them. no other option if your just looking for animal impact protection

    Lot's of great suggestions in this thread. My suggestion is to install one of these and then hire the neighbors kid to man it, on those short trips into town.

    Not sure it's the look you're going for but I live in a similar deer ridden area Desert Toy Fab bumper has taken 3 this year 20-55mph...
