Thats what I figured would be easiest, need to make my shit legit, been running no light for the past two years without issue, but I will be running some more wires to the swingout so I might as well. Did you use something like this for the lights?

That would be great, thanks. There are a few available, but that one looked like the best option.

This weekend I decided to tackle the headroom issue in the runner.

I found a non sunroof headliner and the center dome lights and overhead console. Fully removed the original headliner and the sunroof track and the glass itself.

From there I worked on a way to secure the glass without being able to somehow suction out and disappear on the highway. I came up with aluminum spacers and running bolts through it. It held great and I was able to drill the holes into the side support to make the sunroof be the proper height. Before I brought the sunroof in one final time I taped it off and painted the inside of the glass black so it wouldn't bake the back of the headliner and eventually wear it down.

Once secured I sealed top and bottom with silicone and made sure there was no chance of leaking. Once that was cured I placed the headliner and re attached the handles and visors.

Overall I gained 3-4" of much needed headroom and I never used the sunroof anyway.

After I let it fully cure overnight I tested it by washing. No leaks.

it shouldnt, i was going to just vinyl wrap it originally but didnt think far enough in advance. I too plan to snag a full length rack to hide it visually on top as well.

Only thing so far about painting it, is it smells like hot paint in my car currently, but that will fade.

Relocated blinker to the originally unused reflector lens on the bumper. Utilized the OEM blinker location for rear facing dust lights for approach visibility while off-road. I used the Rigid flasher module with a Toyota style off road lights button to fill a blank on my knee bolster area. I have swapped the OEM incandescent bulbs to high power and high lumen amber LEDs. We will see how this cuts through the dust and sand in the coming weeks. I've had some close calls with friends following me on dry trails. With them being unable to see me when i've stopped and they're quickly approaching and have to veer off to avoid hitting me.

Installed the Baja Kits LT +2 kit over the weekend. Install went fairly smooth considering all we changed.

Went to Pismo this weekend for a Raptor meet/run. Had a blast and really got to test out the new kit. Im very happy with it so far. Took a few pics and got a few fence line runs on camera.

I've been working on this little project for a little while now. Had a work neighbor help me and he machined the M22 rod end size to fit and thread perfectly into the King rod end. Then tapped the M8 shifter thread and purchased a jam nut to clock it properly and tighten it down. I think it turned out great.
