Has anyone changed out their hood with the one with the scoop and set up a ram air system on the 4 cylinder? hp gain?

Any info on the best aftermarket winch bumper to throw on my '10 4cyl 4x4 sr5 Tacoma?

This has been talked about a lot on here, and there is a lot of threads on it.
It doesn't allow for any or very little of a power gain so I've heard; it also is a problem with rain and unwanted debris getting into it. On that part of the hood there is very little air flow.
I suppose you could install a cold air intake, but I'm not sure how good they would work on your 4 cylinder. As far as the bumper is concerned, do a search on here and on google and see what you can come up with. Also keep an eye out for members rides and their bumpers, and if you see something you like, send them a PM. Hope that helps.

    Thanks for the info.

I tried to find some threads but I didn't go too far back. There are pages and pages. I will look again.

    Might be something new also.

Try searching and then looking through 6 pages of results.

The hood scoop on the sport is in a low pressure area, so you might hurt hp.

The 2.7l is already drawing in cold air. If I were you I would save my money and get an AFE drop in filter & remove the secondary filter.

Only 7 results. nothing that helps. I guess the low pressure kills the idea anyways. maybe would be ok for cowl induction though.
