I looked and looked but cannot seem to find my answer.

My goal is to level the truck and have 5100s all around.

I am planning on getting the front shocks and transferring my factory coils.

I also want to replace the rears with the same shocks, 5100.. but since my goal is to level the truck, doesn't replacing the rear shocks with 5100 raise it by an inch?

If it does or does not, would it call a need for add a leaf?

Just replacing the rear shocks with 5100s will give no lift at all. an AAL is only necessary if you plan to lift the rear 1.5-2". As for the front, to level you just need to set the front 5100s at .85

Just ordered the set for my truck from 4wheelparts going to set them all at 0 because I'm happy with my current level. $343 shipped. The fronts are technically "struts" so be sure you order the right set. They should double check the part numbers for you if you put in your truck info.

    Okay sounds good.

So I can get 5100 all around and it'll just level out the truck?

The front 5100s are adjustable. 0,.85,1.75,2.5. Rear 5100s are not. So yes. Put front at .85. Level.

So AAL is ONLY needed if I want to lift my rear.

Well there are multiple options. Add a leaf (AAL), block, or full leaf pack.

    Ahh okay, thanks for that!

Looks like I am gonna get me a set within a few weeks.
No need for AAL, block, or leaf pack was what I was looking for!
Just an upgraded shock to match the fronts.

Lift is provided by the springs. Shocks just dampen the ride.
5100's lift front by moving the front springs up from stock level. Theyll also lift by putting taller springs at stock (0) level.
Like said before to lift the rear you need to raise your leafs (blocks, aal, pack)

This has been answered, but the rear shocks won't lift the truck, only dampen. You'll need an aal or block for lift, which you aren't looking for. The adjustable front shocks will lift the truck with factory coils. You'll need to adjust to the second or third setting depending on the stance you're looking for (level or slightly nose high). Many, many people have done what you're trying to do. Take that from someone who has been a member of TW since 2008 lol.
