Tow capacity

I have a 4,000lb boat and then the trailer. And I drive a 2017 sr5 double cab, lifted, 4X4 Tacoma with a V6 tow package. I'm curious if I might have any trouble towing the boat and dropping it. Any suggestions? Please and thank you

You most likely won't have a problem pulling it and dropping it. But depending on how steep the ramp is may make it more difficult to pull it out of the water. My friend has a real tough time getting his boat out of the water because the ramp is so steep. Has to go into 4WD Lo to get it out.

 

You need to have some idea what the total weight would be. The published dry weight of my 19cc is 1800 pounds. Total tow weight including motor, fuel , gear, and trailer is around 3400 pounds. I have never actually weighed my boat and trailer because I am no where near the towing capacity of the truck.
