Not sure what my ground clearance measurements are. I will have to check that today and report back.

4WP has ARB front bumpers on sale today. $780+tax is a pretty good deal for a first gen front bumper.

Wish I could afford one right now. Just spent 1200 on my tires and alignment. Thanks for the heads up though, Maybe here in a couple of months.

They have random sales like this fairly often. There are also vendors that may be able to get you a good deal.

My ground to fender measuremtns are 42in rear and 41 in front. Since my tires are 33s, Im assuming the gap between tire and fender is 8in front and 9 in rear. Not sure what stock measurements are for comparison.

Well it's time to blow some more money on my Tacoma. After lifting the truck my CV axles immediately went to crap. One started leaking grease out of a boot and the other is causing some vibrations so here is the plan.

Ordering a manual hub conversion from ORS today along with manual axles from CVJ with long travel boots. Probably also ordering a reman rack from CVJ. Also picked up extended steel braided brake lines, and some bushings from toytec.

So the question is to go with the Warn hubs or try to source some Aisin ones? They say the warn work just fine but I hate how they look. That being said, not sure if another 400 for the aisin is worth me liking how they look.

CV shafts with long travel boots from CVJ are in. Just waiting on the steering rack, conversion kit, and aisin hubs which should all be here this week.
Going to try and do the wheel bearings myself using a press we have. And tips for that would be appreciated.

It was dark when I finished. Will get more pics tomorrow. Hopefully my mechanic can get my rack done this weekend or early next week.

I feel like my truck has been under the knife just as much as I have been able to drive it. It could of been driven for a long time without me touching it but one thing leads to another..

Just got the truck back last Friday. Steering feels a lot better now after the new rack and poly bushings.

    Next on the list is:
    Window tint
    Carrier bearing
    Diff and tranny fluid change
    Rock sliders
    LineX bed
    Soft topper

Yeah horizon blue metallic is the other rare color of the first gens. Don’t see a lot of them. I like them both
