Payoff Toyota Financial

Hi there,

Still going back and forth about selling my truck. If I sell privately, since I would have to payoff TFS, how do I go about doing that? Since they don't have a retail branch etc. Anyone have experience with this?

You send them a check for the payoff just like any other loan or credit card

 

The finance department in the Dealership is the safest and most secure method.

 

I understand that part, but has any one had issues with the person buying the truck? Obviously they have to trust the fact you payoff the loan and then they wait for the title. So wouldnt they run into registration issue since the title can take a while to arrive?

 

Usually meet at in your case the dealer or bank if it was financed locally.

 

Can you make a payment at your Toyota dealer? That might be re-assuring to the buyer.
