Where I'm located that wouldn't last a week on the dealer's lot at $31k. At $29k it'd be sold that day.

You might check CarFax to see if it's been back to the dealer for any warranty issues just to be sure someone didn't unload a troubled rig.

Thanks ElBlanco... It's almost like turning back the clock and having a shot at buying a new '15 ! How many guys would do that today in hindsight ?
Prolly couldn't have bought the truck new at this price either ?
Gen 3 just won't do the job for me and honestly, I tried and I wanted to like it !

Check. Good point. Dealer provided Carfax and I did double check just to keep them honest. All Clean, 5 services. No accidents, No airbag deployment, no open recalls.

Also make sure it's not a flood damage vehicle too! Lots of that is going around thanks to the hurricanes we been having and getting shipped out to other states.

I think that's a steal. I would verify it didn't arrive from a recently flooded area, if everything's clear, jump on that line white on rice. My only hesitation is the color, silver just isn't my thing.

Thank You Sir ! Good thinking and Good advise to all buyers in the market today !

:rain: Would that show up on Carfax ? :rain:

(Hmmmmm..... guess only if it's reported :smack:)

Carfax says this truck originally sold at this NH dealer in '15, has been serviced there and had only one owner. Guess this is where Faith comes into play !

Since I went from an 04 LJ at the beginning of summer. I do miss the Jeep days and easy mods. But all the room for traveling with two dogs, gear, and a crew into the backcountry is pretty nice.

"trade-in" value does not apply here...it's a dealer selling a used car
it's a great price for a 4x from a dealer given the condition and mileage
i got a great deal on my 2015 4x w/ 3500 miles on it (bought in january of 2016)...$28.5k...it was a "program car" - a service loaner the dealer only keeps for so long...go for it if you like it (& offer $500 less - they do want it gone)
    cheers, dave

It's not uncommon around here that people lease vehicles like Jeeps and convertibles that they keep at a summer 2nd home. Use it on weekends and vacation and the rest of the time sits in the garage. Two years later they turn in for a new one. They get an ultra low mileage lease, dealer gets a killer used car to sell. Might be the case here.

Yeah, I see them used on the front line at the dealer for sale too with short mileage. Kinda tells a story don't it ?

That appears to be a Toyota warranty...but only 12,000 miles bumper to bumper and balance power train only. Of course it seems you still have 30,000 miles and a year left on original warranty if it's 2 years old and only 6,000 miles on odometer.

    Too few to list.
$29K for a 4x4 DC CPO is a great price. You won't find that in a CA dealer. 2nd Gen TRD DC's in 4x4 are all over $30K with two to four times that mileage!

Ahhh... another good scenario of what might have happened.

I haven't been able to break through the barrier that might show me who the original purchaser was. I would love to say hello and ask what's what !
