    1. How about one special dedicated forum for oil changes only?
    2. How about an automatic dialog box pop up for the poster if their thread title includes any combination of "which," "oil," "change," "synthetic," or "filter" is used, and it asks them if they have already searched the new special oil change forum for an answer to their question. Provide the link in the dialog box.
    3. If they click on yes, have another dialog box pop up that asks "are you sure?"
    4. If they click on yes again, have another dialog box pop up that asks "perhaps you should have another look."
    5. If they click on no, have another dialog box pop up that asks "please reconsider, for the sake of humanity."
    6. If they persist, send a sitewide 404 error that times out after 24 hours.

    A few OE parts from fancy trucks
    Just route them to the page with the correct answers. An FAQ of sorts, when the key words are entered in their post (which doesn't actually post)

    They can enjoy the FAQ and move ahead.

    If they have a question that is not covered by the FAQ, they can submit that question to management for evaluation. If worthy, it becomes part of the FAQ. If unworthy, they get a 'no thanks' response.

    FAQ is locked so it doesn't become another thread of bloated nothingness.

    For the right price I might even be able to find a tribologist willing to contribute to the FAQs.

    I vote make @scocar a mod and put him in charge of editing the informational threads and deleting all the garbage. also remove all the junk threads that are point less. After all he spends more time on here then most of us including some of the mods. I trust he will do a good job.
