Started with a BBP DCSB SR5 after a very unreliable old subie, a cargo van, and a Forester. My girlfriend and I have picked up a little addiction for hot spring hunting across the great state of Nevada, and the taco has been perfect for the trips.

    Current setup:

    Total Chaos +2 Race kit
King LT Front Coilovers with 700lbs springs and adjusters
    BAMF Rear Shock Relocation
    King 12” Smoothies with Adjusters

    BAMF Heavy Duty Hangers
    Deaver Custom Leaf Pack
    Total Chaos UCAs
    Total Chaos Bump Mounts

    ARB RD132 Rear Locker
    Nitro 4.88 gears

    Miscellaneous:
    Ebay Pro Grille
    Blacked out headlights with Halos
    Prinsu Cab Rack
    TredPro Traction Boards
42 inch CaliRaised Double Row LED
    Rigid DSS Driving Ditch Lights
Rigid D2 Midnight Edition Fog lights

    Relentless Sliders
    Relentless Front and Mid skids
    Relentless Bed Rack
Relentless Hi Lift mount and Quick Fists

Nice. You live in Sparks? I also like to get out to all of the nice springs in NV. Haven't been to any in a few months though, too hot to sit in a 100* spring.

Here's as she sits right now. I think I'll end up getting good winter tires on these wheels then get a different set next summer.

Finally broke the shell in on a proper 1000 mile weekend across Nevada. All in all I'm very happy with the purchase, it definitely served its purpose Saturday when we got hit by some flash flooding near Rachel, NV and camped out in the back. My only gripe is I should've gotten a long bed truck because it was a little tight for two people but oh well. Before the trip I pulled the rear seats and cargo area because we rarely (okay never) pick up hitchhikers and it freed up a ton of space. However, it was definitely louder. So if I plan to keep them out I need to find a way to dampen the noise. The truck handled fine, things got a little hairy trying to follow roads that don't exist into sand dunes but that's my own fault. Averaged about 20 MPG with at least 250 miles on dirt so no complaints. We found three new to us hot springs and managed to swing by our favorite on the way home.

Finally got around to adding halos and blacking out the headlight housing. Took way longer than I wanted and made a few mistakes but that's what DIY is about right? Went to show off the completed side to my lady friend but didn't realize my passenger side bulb was on the fender, ended up melting and bubbling the paint a little but oh well :DIMG_2806.jpg IMG_2812.jpg IMG_2808.jpg IMG_2814.jpg IMG_2816.jpg IMG_2805.jpg

That last spring is one of my favorites also. It's been getting more popular unfortunately.

It's beautiful, it seems like most springs are packed now. Everyone wants their pictures to get a bunch of likes :annoyed:

Definitely looks like welding splatter, but no it's just heat from low beam headlight on the passenger side being on for like 10-15 seconds. The bare bulb was touching the paint and apparently they heat up quick haha

Another solid weekend of exploring the vast nothingness of Nevada and even Oregon. Four new hot springs and a lot of ideas/plans for this winter. Definitely need to get some good maps but the Steen Mountains and Alvord Desert are incredible places to explore, and only about four hours from Reno.

Got some off brand LED Ditch lights and an LED light bar installed today. Would have been killer to have them this weekend but oh well. I used the Cali Raised Ditch Mounts which worked perfectly but the crappy Amazon pod lights I got seem like junk, two of the four leveling screws stripped out when I was tightening by hand so I'll probably opt for better pods if these prove worth there while and don't get stolen.

Labor day deals got the best of me :burp:

Lots of overtime and ramen in my future but the finished product will be oh so worth it!

Quick trip into the Sierras Saturday night. I haven't been back in these hills for years and I have no idea why. It was beautiful and pretty low traffic for a holiday weekend. A quick unpack and re-pack before I head to the PNW tomorrow to live out of the truck while working for a few weeks. Should be fun!IMG_2947.jpg IMG_3136.jpg IMG_3199.jpg

Ordered a Prinsu rack on Saturday, suppose to be delivered on Thursday :fingerscrossed: I was expecting a long wait but maybe since I ordered it bare it sped things up. Hopefully no parts are missing!

Update on the Prinsu rack: they sent the wrong wind fairing but I should have the proper one tomorrow, CBI's customer service was great.

Received half of my lights from the Rigid GB and my OME BP51 kit today and boy is it pretty  tires and more lights coming tomorrow, then wheels sometime soon. The pile in my garage is going to get a little ridiculous. And if I didn't already have enough things to install, I have moisture in my driver side headlight that I need to take care of :censored:

What ultimately made you go with the BP-51s? I’m looking at them hard but there doesn’t seem to be a lot of good info available on what people think.

Your exploring is giving me the itch to get my truck together to go out on some trips.

    Thanks

It was kind of a combination of things. I got a killer deal on the kit and UCA's, it seemed like a good middle ground between 5100s vs Icon Stage 7 stuff, and I really like the look of the setup. There's like two solid threads on here by BP51 owners, and I believe it was Wildpeak who made a very in depth one that sold me.

The options in our areas are endless!

Confused as eff right now. I order an AAL set from Headstrong, quantity 2, to add to my BP51 kit. I got two tracking numbers from them but one never worked. And today four leaf springs showed up. So does each ‘AAL’ have two springs or did something get real messed up somewhere along the way?
