Rescued this girl off a creek and fostered her for a year. Just dropped her off to here forever home two weekend ago. Was incredibly sad to see here go but that is what fostering is all about.

Awesome that you can foster dogs!

I've tried to foster 3 dogs. Ended up keeping each and every one of them. Gave up on the idea of fostering and just have to understand I'm adopting them.

My boy, Sheriff, turned one yesterday. I never knew I could love something as much as I love this son-of-a-bitch.

With our new living arrangements, pup is no longer allowed on the bed. So I got her a cool little platform bed, lined it with a thick plastic and outdoor fabric. Got her a comfy new dog bed which sits on the platform. She's adjusting remarkably well for being a dog that's only known sleeping in the bed for the last 6.5 years with me. She actually waits to be tucked in at night.

It was tough as this was the first dog I have fostered. Didn't even plan on it, but was helping out the co-workers rescue as they tried to find a place for her. 2 weeks turned into a year and I would have keep her if I was not travelling down to Central America for an extended period of time. She ended up being adopted by my girlfriend's great aunt so we will get to see her when we get back.

Honestly was one of the hardest things to let that dog go after having her so long. Still think about that pup every damn day, I know she went to the best place she possibly could have ended up and is being spoiled like a queen now though.

Looks good. Thought about doing something similar in my 1st gen DC. I'm usually solo on any excursions, so it's not out of the question.

It really was easy. Just a lot of cut, test fit, cut, test fit, etc. and it can be taken out really easily if needed. The main reason was for a flat surface with no nooks and crannies for him to get his paw caught in while out wheeling. He likes to stand but has horrible sea legs.

After 9 hours of thrashing each other relentlessly, they are both satisfied.
