Back to my obsession with this car. Wish it was on YouTube instead of Facebook.

    Hey Josh...
I think it is my FPR.
Tonight I put a check valve inline with the FPR vacuum hose (so that it would constantly see max boost pressure), and highway driving wasn't as lean as it has been. You should try the same and see what AFR's it gives you

You guys need to either install a new OEM one, or preferably a larger diaphragm aftermarket one.

You, @Jstand , and @j0shu4 all seem to be having the same failing component, with the same symptoms, all around the same time. So strange a coincidence. Part past its useable lifespan, in my opinion.

If you're fpr isn't working at all you should still be able to correct afrs via injector pulse width tuning with the fic6 (I think). If your pcm is chasing an incorrect afr in closed loop it is more than likely related to your o2 sensor IMO. Either that or your fuel trims are insufficient to correct afrs in which case you'd be seeing + or - 20 in both LT and ST trims although I suppose if this is an ob served issue it could be due to a failing fpr.

I don't have any fic6 or similar, and I just replaced my front o2 with zero improvement. And my LTFT's are in the mid teens (-).

On the fpr manifold line we reran to get 1 to 1 raise? Which way did you run the check valve blocking out towards?

Is there a better fpr direct fit for the 3.4? Like a Supra for? I've heard our OE is the same as the Supras. My axle carrier bearing is shot too. The bearing is floating inside of the rubber with about an inch of play. Already got a replacement just waiting to put it in. Think I was getting some unnecessary drag from it.

Yes. I set it to where after a WOT pull, the pressure would go past the check valve and then get stuck (pushing against the FPR diaphragm).
Do you have a good scanner tool? My LTFT's are always anywhere from -6 to -15. The more I research, the more I think it's he FPR.

Yeah I've replaced mine a few times lol. I packed mine with lithium grease this last time to keep it from wearing out so fast. IDK if the extra torque from the turbo is causing the shaft to bounce around more, causing it to wear more... just a theory.
EDIT: and yes if anyone knows of a decent aftermarket FPR that will work without much headache... let us know

I think @MrCrowntown is using an aeromotive FPR. Maybe he can chime in with a model #
