$800 shocks, installation and alignment. Bilstein 5100's. If you can find someone who has "takeoffs" from a modified OffRoad, those are the Bilstein 4600s, which are essentially the same shock, different tube material and maybe a tad smaller reservoir. And those you can get really cheap in the buy and sell forum or you can probably inquire in this forum. It's a different truck with the Bilsteins.

Has anyone made any type of accessory panel for their bed with something like the blue sea system below deck panel incorporated? I'm looking for ideas. Maybe something slightly recessed to avoid it getting banged up.

So I called the dealer to get a quote on some tires for my trd sport. I was looking to put max tire for the stock rims, which I believe on here was noted 265/70/17.

Riddle me this, parts guy says nope I will not install those tires on your truck. Using a bigger tire will add a lot of strain on the driveline/tranny and void your warranty.

Am I right in thinking that is ridiculous? Will slightly larger tires do anything negative?

Dealer you called must be idiots because they lost the sale. Any tire store in town will install that size on Sport wheels. No issues at all.

I have 3 coated and 3 uncoated at the shop ready to go and I'm only an hour away from you.
That should help get you on the right side of the fence :)

Maybe throw your speedometer off a bit. I have 275/70/17 on SEMA rims with 5100 all around. I have had to do some warranty issues including some drive train and suspension warranty work. My dealer never bated an eye about any mods I have done. They get the truck right in and get it fixed.
You probably encountered the same parts guy I spoke to that said you can put 90w gear oil in the transfer case.
Costco I think is the same way. They won't put any size tire on other than stock.
Read Magnason-Moss act concerning modification to vehicles. Basically the dealership has to prove the modifications were the direct cause of the failure. Burden of proof is on the dealership.
