2011 Taco Sliding Rear Window: Upright Comes Unscrewed

    Yeah, a pic would help, but I will use my hands instead. Two times recently, the right side upright on the sliding rear window (where the sliding window latches closed) has come unscrewed. Each time, I have been able to simply tighten the 2 screws, so it does not appear the threads in the plastic piece (mounted on the stationary part of the window) are stripped.

    Has anyone else had this issue? What kind of fix did you use? I have thought of using the "yellow" Loctite, or something similar.

    Locktight runs a bit thin, but it may help. Try cutting a small, short piece of electrical tape, wrap the threads. I've used wire heat shrink tubing melted to the screw.
