It's worse, if it burns it will carry the oils into your lungs. An itch you can't itch. I suggest roundup every 2 weeks for a couple of months. Or there are people who rent out goats for hard to reach brush clearing. Some cities have started using them.

Thanks for the public service announcement, I don't know what I would do if you weren't here to warn me about the dangers of salt

    Oh god...burning PO sounds awful!

The best is when the folks clearing vegetation on some of the projects I work on feed poison oak into a chipper... Little bits of pure evil floating through the air

Thanks for the comments on the PO, its fucking horrible, worst thing EVER! Its still on my eyelids and they are both swollen, I DO keep getting new spots all over the place, not even sure what clothes I was wearing the 2 days I was swimming in that stuff.

I was on high dose Steroids for 5 days, now I have no more and it seems to be getting worse, I had a friend thats a doctor look at it and he said I was in danger of going into shock! I was feeling pretty weak and shitty but thought it was because I have been working 16+ hour days for what seems like weeks now, even my hands have been tingling for the past 3 days and feel slightly numb.

SO wash the stuff in cold water not hot? Guess I fucked up there, I washed it in Ultra hot water thinking it would melt all the bad oils away!

I was playing with the Chainsaw that day as well as a bunch of other tools, and one kicker is I was wearing thin motorcycle gloves that were soaked in sweat while having Oak juice in them, I had PO between my fingers, sonuva, that is REALLY uncomfortable.

Sucks bad, still covered, itching super bad, have to put scalding hot water on my body 3 times a day to quell the itching, wouldnt wish this shit on my worst enemy!!

I am so damn tired I just want to take a break, but not gonna happen till after the 1st, this is gonna suck, lol.
Heading back to my new place after a store run to get more paint supplies for the interior of the house, we are moving all our house stuff this weekend. And next week I can move my shop and build the back wall as well as figure out what kind of roof to build so I can go buy my new lifts and install them and wire up the 220v for my welders.

A lot to finish in 9 days but I'll make it happen. Im like a robot, lol.

Poison any of that shit is awful. I used some stuff called Ivy Dry whenever I got into that shit back east. Between that and Benadryl it helped.

I can give you a hand next week with the shop no problem. If you need a hand during the week let me know before 5 and I'll come straight over from work.

Jason... I feel for you man! I lived in Sacramento area for a couple of years and got PO really bad a few times from mountain biking. I totally understand your pain and frustration. That shit sucks the big one! I got to the point where I was paranoid to go mountain biking because I was afraid to get it again. I wish you the best in ridding yourself of the PO residue and getting your shop set up! I'll be using your services sometime after you get settled in!

I can use the help anytime you have it, Im burning the candle at both ends and its rough! But it is what it is!
I can use your help today through next week anytime you are available that would be huge!

I have been doing 95% of all the work on the house because although my wife is ambitious she doesnt know much about construction stuff so it almost makes it hard to work when I have to keep her busy, and the fact that I micromanage the shit out of her has to make her want to strangle me!!! I think she is about ready for a vacation away from me, lol.

Awesome Dirk, if you get bored come on over too, come see how far its come
And yeah this PO shit sucks sooo bad, but cant let it slow me down, however I can say its doing its best to do so!
Having it on over 75% of my body makes it tough, lol!

cold water helps a lot, but that's only after the initial contact. The hot water opens your pores up and that oil soaks right in. unfortunately, it's going to pop up a lot in your future on tools you've touched, boots you warn, even any part of the house or out side that you leaned up against. I've been saying for years instead of dropping bombs in the Middle East we just drop bushels of poison oak.

SO, a question, does anyone know of what the best mounting system is for mounting a Tuff Stuff Delta Rooftop Tent on top of a Snug top shell.
Here is the truck in question, she's a friend of mine (works for Dirtrider Magazine), really cool chick that rides dirtbikes.

    Dirtrider?! Cool!

I'd say the best bet would be to make or get a crossbar system from a company like Thule/Yakima/INNO/Rhino Rack...

You'll need to check the weight rating of the shell, and of course the weight rating of the crossbars. The tent itself is ~116# (same tent Madison got)
