We're letting auburn fill our quota for turnovers... 5 vs Mercer? Sheesh.

Far from inevitable, but it seems like there's a decent chance. Obviously I'd enjoy seeing it, b/c it would mean Alabama made it back. I don't know that I'd enjoy the game much, though. Clemson looks damn good.

Not following this thread too close but I'm pumped to see my Ducks take on ASU here in AZ this Saturday!
I bought my tickets 2 months ago and have been waiting for this game for over almost a year when they announced this season's schedule.

Should be interesting since the Ducks defense has really stepped it up (so far) since the last few years and their redshirt freshman QB has been preforming pretty well. Royce Freeman (#21) is really amazing too and has 53 career TDs and 9 already on this season (over 3 games!)... So far new head coach Taggart has been producing so I'm hoping that trend continues.

ASU has not really been doing too well so I'm hoping for a good game... from my perspective! :p :D

The only thing I think is "dumb" is that they announced the colors for the UofO fans to wear as "white"... Uhm, what!?! Last time I saw them play here (2 years ago!), it was super obvious to see the Ducks fans across the stadium because we were all wearing green. Very Christmas-esque look to the stadium during that game, LOL!

I hate white shirts so I'm going to just go with something green. Hope that doesn't cause them to lose the game...

Va, I think they have a pretty good team for a change.

Teams telling fans what color to wear is dumb anyway. Wear what you want. Have fun!

VT always has a dangerous team...especially in Blacksburg...hasn't been quite as good since Beamer retired but Fuente is a good coach

What? You mean black outs/white outs don't work? Someone should've told South Carolina and Louisville before last weekend

So ESPN just put out an article on the increase in targeting penalties this year, noting that this year there have been 75 penalties with 20 overturned so far this year compared to 35 enforced penalties at this point last year.
    http://www.espn.com/college-footbal...-huge-spike-targeting-penalty-enforcement-far
And yet, even with the ability to call the penalty in from the booth, the officials still miss egregious ones like this

Woah that was a bad hit.

I'm for enforcement. If it helps protect people and keep the sport around a little longer then great.

I hate targeting. I get the whole hits to the head and shit, but the “defenseless player” stuff is stupid. You can’t really hit a receiver until he can “defend himself”. That’s dumb. And when almost 1/4 Of the calls are being overturned, obviously even the officials don’t know what targeting really is. Which is why there are so many shitty targeting calls.

    Growing pains.

    This sport is forever changed.

Guy who owned the gym I've been working out at since the late 90s was a pro football player. Came to my wedding.

His past head injuries (diagnosed) have caught up to him and he doesn't even recognize me anymore. Kinda sad.

Kids are even bigger, faster and hit harder now then ever. How do they protect them?

I really just hope they figure it out. I love watching some good football!

You hope the refs are just oblivious and not intentionally making bad calls, but sometimes all you see is
