Thanks for the info and please report back when you flex the truck out. I have the shackle flips installed and will do the shock relocate in the future. I would prefer not to run spaces and not because I think they are unsafe I don't, but because I don't want a wider truck.

I received mine today. Cleanest looking welds I've ever seen. The shackles are beefy as fuck. Only thing I can see that I don't like is the inside of the mount has an area where the coating hasn't quite reached the corner. Otherwise very happy. Quick shipping, good customer service.

Thanks, that inside plating issue happens if the plating company hangs it opposite way. Adding another vent/drain hole on next batch so that's less likely. Spray a little Fluid Film in there to help

    REAR END SETUP ?

I am going with Baja Kits front 2+ LT kit and want Archive for the rear setup to compliment the front.

I have a 2013 DCLB, with a topper. Planning on adding a front runner roof rack to the topper and a rear bumper.

Can you advice me if I can add all these components or what the best setup would be?

This was my thought on components for the rear:

    Hey Kyle,

Thank you for considering Archive! For your mentioned plans, the U539's SUA are a good option, especially for getting uptravel at lower lift. You might choose to stay with stock hanger for now, and mounting a 12" travel shock will give you good uptravel potential, as high as your bed sides will allow, to help soak up washboards and get that needed compliance. I'm getting more experience on this setup and it is a good option

So do you not suggest the long travel 14" shock relocation tower?

Sorry for the long story.......(Moved my question to the top) will putting the AAL back in for the axle wrap give me even more than what i already have with the shackle flip?

So I've been thinking about what you said on not recommending this with completely stock leaf pack.....i do plan on going with a Allpro standard down the road with a shock relocation but im currently running this on the TSB leaf pack, basically noticed what you said in it gave me the slight positive arch but haven't had any issue with this yet but also haven't paid to much attention to the axle wrap either.

I removed the AAL i got from Icon when the truck went in to get the TSB leafs put on and have not put them back on because i installed the shackle flip and it gave me the lift i wanted.
Edit: wanted to add, i wheel my truck pretty hard and didn't order this just for a lift. this gave me the ride/travel i'm working towards on and offroad, awesome product by the way!

Jose, thanks for your feedback, and questions are welcome. I have had that on my truck for several months and working fine mostly, I just wasn't thrilled with the increase in axle wrap.

If you are asking about lift, putting the AAL in with the shackle flip, I bet you get the lift equal to the thickness of the 3-leaves, probably close to 1".

If you are asking about wrap, I would hope you get less wrap because the aal leaves should be engaged against the 3 stock leaves with their positive arch.

Erick, thanks for the quick response. was asking both pretty much and thanks for the answer's. was hoping to avoid more lift in the rear but don't want more axle wrap either, it's bad enough as it is from from Toyota. I'll throw those AAL's back on this weekend.

I just wanted to give some feedback on the rear Fox 2.5x14" DSC's tuned and valved by Accutune Offroad. Let's face it, most of our miles are on the road, so handling and ride quality are important on the road.
I just did my longest road trip thus far, 1300 miles round trip from Buffalo, NY to the Overland Expo East in Ashville, NC. The highway routes I drove were 70mph limit through the mountains, twisting from southern PA, WV, VI, TN, NC. These shocks did awesome at handling and giving a controlled ride all without feeling jarring. It was confidence inspiring at 70-75mph. So I am very happy with the performance. My DSC settings were about 3 clicks off the lowest setting for both low speed and high speed compression, which means I have a lot of adjustment (maybe 7 clicks up) for carrying heavy loads or towing.

Updated and new U-bolt flip kit/SUA kit bump options, all made from tough 1/2 & 3/16 A588 50,000 psi steel:
    1. The rubber bump mount is 3" diameter 3/16, with grade 8 3/8-16 flanged lock nut welded and stainless bolt supplied
    2. Air bump 3/16 landing pad raised 1" on square tube so you don't hit the U-bolt threads (recommended for SUA & SOA)
    3. Air bump 3/16 landing pad flush mounted to U-bolt plate, (best for SOA)

    >> New for #tacotuesday <<
Building on the experience, fitment and quality of the shackle flip kit, Archive has designed and tested a beefy 2005-2018 Tacoma tension shackle hanger. 2 years experience supplying hundreds of our premium shackle flip kits and 15+ years design experience is why Archive is your trusted source for a kit that works perfect right out of the box. It's also how Archive is able to go from a concept to a working installed hanger in just a few weeks. This is a sorely needed fix for many Tacoma owners asking more from their truck, including you. It is a bolt-on design, and it eliminates issues with the flimsy stock hanger. Even if you haven't bent your stockers yet, there are benefits in ride quality to be had for all. It is compatible with both stock and aftermarket Tacoma springs, spring over and spring under.
I am keeping details under wraps, but you'll know soon enough.

Expect ordering to open soon. Kits are being shipped to shops and friends to help launch this great new kit! It will be reasonably priced, delivering quality and value per dollar.
