Hello all! I recently bought some patches and the new roof liner on the pickup is not like the older styles, so it will not old patches. I really don't want to use anything with adhesive, I was hoping the Velcro on the back of the patch would work.

Has anyone found a fix for this, not using something that would ruin the roof liner later down the road if I decided to remove the patches?

It does work, its just a little tricky. You need to kind of turn the patch as you install.

Will it snag the headliner material if patches are removed?
    Thanks

I haven't noticed any snag, I was concerned about that as well but so far nothing

Be careful guys , if you ruin your headliner, you have to have your windshield and rear windows replaced as well

Take the patch and aggressively rub your headliner for a few seconds with the Velcro side on the headliner. Then firmly press and massage your patch into the headliner and call it a day.

I put my patch on the vertical part of the floor board near the shifter. I think it looks pretty nifty.

if its anything like the seats likely will.
I thought my seat was just wearing out really fast then realized the spot whre the fabric was getting worn looking was right where the velcro of the back pockets of my work pants would be on the seat.

I cut all the velcro off the pants now so no worries but still to wear out that fast? The 7 years I've had my jetta never had an issue

Is this question really a serious question? I'm not into patches personally but why do you have to come in here and bash.

    Someone buy this:
