I don't think there ever is a "final version." There's always something to change, tweak, upgrade, etc.

Keep up the good work!!!

Ok. We can scratch off #'s 3,4,5, & 8. There is a chance that I can turn the key on this thing this weekend! It's just a 100% stock 1986 mustang gt motor, but it would be a huge step forward, and I could start my 351w build knowing that wiring and plumbing would be in place to support the larger displacement motor!

I spent the all of today trying to get this wagon together. I am closer but I am not there yet. After taking today off I have to work straight through to and including saturday. I might get a couple of hours after work to wrench each day. The wiring is almost done. I need to source computer power and connect 3 air conditioning related wires. Vacuum for egr, evap canister and climate controls still need to be connected as well. I still have the weekend as my goal.

I started the car today. It won't stay running if I take my foot off of the gas pedal. Maybe throttle position sensor or ignition related. Definitely a huge milestone for me. I am tickled pink! I have more to do before I can drive it.

Wow! That is awesome! Clean too! I wish mine were that clean! Time and money. That person has more of one or both than I do. Maybe I should scratch the 351 and shoot for the voodoo engine from a gt350! That reminds me I gotta buy some lottery tickets.

I drove it yesterday! It's not 100% done but I got it to where I was able to drive it! Now that I've driven it, I really want to get it done, but my parts fund is depleted. If I can build it up by Christmas I'm gonna put a 351w under the tree! Or maybe I will win my fantasy football league and fund it that way!

Abso-lutely! I just got in from driving it again! And I am tickled! I can see that finished with the power levels I want this thing is gonna be a blast to drive! I am heel-toeing all the downshifts just to hear it! Idling at a light it has a slight rumble. When you step on it the flowmasters let everybody know! It's smoking a bit(probably valve seals), but idles great once it's warm. I was turning in to the bank parking lot and spun the tires a bit. It drives really well! It feels solid! I cannot wait until it's 100% done! I am so tempted to drive it to work tomorrow!
