I have a problem. The rear of my truck sags about 1-1.5 inches with no load. To fix this I'm trying to decide between an AAL, Air bags, or both.

My thought is I can just use airbags to level the truck and add air when carrying the load. My other thought is to install an AAL to first level the truck, and add airbags for carrying a load.

    Thoughts?

If it sags with no load I would assume your leafs are shot. I'd just buy a new pack.
