It's 4'8" and 5'8" because it mounts behind the tailgate humps/stops that stick out at the back.

Picture is from the latest Overland Journal

Just a heads up. If they have not made substantial improvements in waterproofing, you had better put all your gear in Pelican cases before you chunk them in the drawers.

I have one of their units in my 2016 F-250 work truck, which happens to carry surveying equipment, and well, lets just say all that is stored there now is plastic flagging and rebar caps:rain:. Perfect waste of $1300.00:mad:

I hope for y'all that you'll have better luck.

The bed is composite, it's not a liner.

Damn, didn’t realize there weren’t many out yet. I installed mine a few weeks ago in my 09 AC. Seems stout and well engineered. My only complaint, and I didn’t have long to check, is that the “Decked box” accessory doesn’t fit perfectly between the divider spots in the large drawer with dividers installed. It’s too big to fit in a single space, and way too short for a two section length. It showed up right before I had to fly off for work the other day (ordered after install), but other than the apparent odd fitment seems well made as well.

To be fair, I tried it the same way (orientation) in a couple spots. Maybe if I rotated it 180* it would fit? I had literally 3 minutes to test fit the box accessory on my last night Home.

I’ll look a lot closer when I get home in a few weeks and can spend more time with it, but it just seemed too long to me to fit properly.

This was a helpful tip. Got it done today. It took me 4 hours to install with a couple breaks and tending to my wife after she got stung by a bee.

I installed one a few weeks ago, and well it has been entertaining.

    Missing/wrong parts:
    -Only sent one Jhook
-Jhook they sent are way to long for any deep socket to be used on the tacomas, it pushes the socket off them, pretty sure they packed the wrong ones.
-Sent me two driver side ammo cans, shouldn't be an issue but the drawer wheels on the passenger side need to be up front on the bigger drawer.
-Front passenger side support had a loose threaded insert that would not stay tightened down

The sent me new parts for all this. J hooks are still to long, and the new passenger side front support was amazing, however when putting it all back together, the drivers side support threaded insert popped out.

They are sorting things out with me and sending me some goodies, but there is an issue with the inserts not being installed properly. I suggested they use an alternate insert, and use proper length j hooks. They just recycle from other trucks, and it doesn't always work with the tacoma. I cut the j hooks to work and I don't care about the one missing bolt so much in the deck, it is more the principle that this should be done properly.

Anyways, I would give the system a solid 6-7 out of ten, if they sent me the right parts and it fit the bed perfectly I would give it a 8-9. Losing points because it has poor utilization of bed space, lots of wasted space with the system.
