Thoughts on Kensun HIDs

Hey all,

Planning upgrades on all of my lighting on my rig this coming year. For the heads & fogs I was looking to use the Kensun HIDS H4 and H10 (I am also planning to switch to

I'm also doing ditch lights and a bumper bar (and maybe even flush mount backup lights) but my main question is does anyone know how the kensun output is compared to other HIDs? And how well this system would end up working? Lighting is not my strong suite (it took me a couple of days to install and wire my fogs ) so any advice is greatly appreciated!

 

I'm not familiar with those HIDs, but you are aware that HIDs are not compatible with reflector housings like the Depot lights you link? You need a full projector retrofit which will be more expensive.

Would you recommend the 5800 lumens Osrams?

 

If you are looking for a significant lighting upgrade without switching to a full projector retrofit, definitely.

 

Either buy a pre built retrofitted set of headlamps or build your own. Best decision i ever did when it came to everyday lighting.
