    Hi, I have a line on a Ford Ranger in a configuration I would like, I know the 3.0L was a common engine and my friends ran until 259,000 before it was retired. What should I be looking for regarding the Ford Ranger 4x4 and the 3.0L when checking out this truck?
    Any other advice would be appreciated on these Rangers as far as what to look for!

    Kings, 275/70/17, a few custom items, lots of Meso mods.
    I have a modded 98 with same configuration. Only issue I've had is interior light switches which are built into the latch inside the door panel. However, I still only have 34k on mine.

    I never had a care in the world for the 3.0 after my buddy's '99 threw a rod at 30k. And I was on the fence before that. Thier just so gutless for a v6.
