Im sure they are as you state. You could shine your stock headlights onto a garage door or similar to see how potent the lights are and then swap and confirm that you are getting similar if not better results with the new lights. Worst case you can spend like $17 to get a restore kit for the stock headlights. It took me about 40 min to do both.

I tried one of those kits on our older Sienna van, and it didn't work or didn't last very long. I took a long time to do it too! Wet-sanded with either 1500 or 2000 grit sandpaper, used the restore chemical crap and buffed the crap out of it. Just didn't last long enough to make it worth the time or effort.

Yea true time will tell whether or not the kit I did will be worth a damn to be honest. If that is the case, then give the new ones a shot!

    A thing or two...
    Good explanation.

I used the Turtle Wax restorer on my passenger side headlight at the beginning of the year. It barely lasted 6 months. I bought a Meguires kit for 3x the price. Hopefully, it will last longer.

Howdy folks... Anyone in need of some furniture?

    For free…

Most of the furniture you can see in these pics is available https://www.zillow.com/homes/for_sa...55117,-77.806893_rect/12_zm/1_fr/?view=public, and can be yours.

Just ask. First come, first served. Some of it has already been moved to my new house, and some will be moved soon. If you see anything that interests you please let me know. Appliances were sold with the house. Our closing is tentatively scheduled for 1st week in October, so time is of the essence…

Things that I know are available:

    • King size bed (pics 16, 17)
    • Sleeper sofa (pic 12) - gone
    • China cabinet (pic 10)
    • Curio cabinet/secretary (pic 4, 5)
    • Table (pic 10,11)
    • Table (pic 6, 7)
    • Book case with glass doors in office (pic 14)
    • Solid wood Book case (pic 23, 24)
    • Entertainment center and shelves on either side (pic 13)
    • Big screen rear-projector TV (old, but works great) (pic 21, 22)
    • Futon (pic 21)
    • Cedar chest (pic 16)
    • 6 drawer dresser (barely visible in pic 24)
    • Chair and ottoman (pic 5)
    • Buffet (pic 7) - gone
Hit me up with an PM.

I also have the rear leaf springs from @Coot83's TX Pro (turned out to be the same set on my 3rd Gen, but are an upgrade from stock 2nd gen - also free...

Nope. Finally sold the old house, and need to get rid of the furniture we left there for "staging"... My new place is AMAZING. Need to have everyone out some time... Sit around a fire, drink some libations, and shoot the bull...

It was a great home. But now that it’s just me and the wife, it’s WAY to big.

What is the best way to clean under the hood? (engine etc.) I'm not too proud of how dirty mine is :D. In fact, I don't even know how it got so dirty.

I've just sprayed mine down before with a spray nozzle on a garden hose before. You could take it by a spray-n-wash and do the same thing. Just don't use the high pressure spray.

I finally took measurements from the ground to my front and rear fenders and found that my back actually does sit about 1.5" higher (I sometimes thought it was just in my head). I'd like to have my truck sit a little more level. Right now I have 5100s set at the highest setting in the front and a 1.5" progressive aal in the rear.

I was wondering if maybe new coils would help me get a little more lift in the front. I have a few friends as well as my brother who had installed 2.5" or 3" lifts, whether it be spacer lifts or cheaper struts, but their trucks all seem to sit higher in the front. Also, a little more lift would help with the rubbing from my tires (33x12.50). Thanks.

You could get a set of OME coils and put the billies down to 0 setting. The coils are longer and heavier spring rating, and will make for a better ride while still producing the lift. The preload on your stock coils must cause for a harsh ride methinks. Plus if those are original coils, they probably are worn down pretty good.

Also depends on where you are rubbing. If you are rubbing the fender flares a dremel will take care of that pretty quick.
