If you lift the truck without it he will loose braking power in the rear. Same goes for if you lower a truck except the opposite effect, you will be locking up the rear brakes before the fronts bite equally.

Essentially with the bpv your tricking the truck into thinking it's not really lifted and to keep the rear/front brakes applied equally.

Exactly what I told him, guess I'll have to show him your comment to convince him!

Sorry I couldn't help with the specifics. Probably pressure related...

I've done a mod or two
Not worth it, you'll just want it covered 90% of the time anyway. Swapping everything is a curse I wish upon no one. However I just got done wheeling my truck for 7 days and driving across 4 states (on my way back to WA for work) and she's been great. But it's been a lot of work that really left me no better off than before other than having a solid cab haha.

They're rock lights, but yes they're useful for a lot of things I hardly run mine unless we're on a night ride or I take pictures.

What if it was a cab with a sunroof... and 4 doors ;)

I found some fiberglass bedsides that extend the distance between the wheel well and the cab 8". Could do a double cab long bed type setup by extending the frame where it comes up to the bed right behind the gas tank and figure something out for the space between the bed and the cab. Maybe never happen. Could definitely be done w/o major mods though. Brake lines, drive shaft, e brake, a few wires, new mounts for the front of the bed, and it would be good to go.

Wondering if anyone's ever encountered this.

Fixed the driver's side door lock actuator, it works if i give it direct power but not if I use the driver or passenger switch. Any ideas?

Mines off of my truck more than its on it. I don't have working AC so every window that can open gets opened. But I agree, would I swap a cab just for the sunroof? Hell no.

When you try and use the switch is the actuator getting power? Does the passenger side work ok?

    Question.

If I buy a all pro tube bumper will the led light tabs that trail gear sells still work? If so, do I need to buy a some form of a resister to help with fast blinking?

Maybe cousin shot a cow elk up on a sage brush hill. There was a rode up about 50 yards from her but it hadn't been driven on in who knows how long.

You can bet the Tacoma got volunteered to drive up the rode and back down to the elk, not even by me.

    No pictures but it happened...

This was on our private property just so everyone knows and hopefully no one freaks out.

You said it. I'm almost doing that right now minus the dash stuff - new doors, interior, engine, trans, driveshaft, rear axle lol.

I added a little frame with tabs to hold a tool/supply box. Strait 1.5" x 0.095" tube across and a little 1"x 0.120" bent tube and braces, migged it all in. Quick rattle can paint job afterwards.

Did you weld that tube 360 around where it comes down to the frame in the front? I'm guessing you did, but it's hard to tell by the pic. Looks like a great way to mount a tool box!
