    Need to be careful not to throw the console up or with that much weight on the inside, or it will just snap back down on you. Other than that, it's approx. 1-2 seconds to draw and aim...

    I agree. I never keep my gun in there unattended. When I park it, it comes with me and I have a permit to carry.
