that seems like the way to go. any issues with water pooling?

 

I try not to go through deep water crossings lol. I also have wires running through the floor and firewall that are for sure not water tight. But never noticed anything when I have gone through water or during monsoons/ snow melt

 

CMC was delivered today! We need that mod day soon lol

 

What all do you need done? Cmc, and pinch weld? Anything else?

 

that and some small maintenance diff fluids tcase fluids and front diff work for the fluids. finish up my tire carrier

 

Don't need a mid day for that stuff, just a parking spot and drain pan

 

yeah it's mostly the carrier cmc and pinch welds also gotta fix the skid a little just threw everything together into one

 

Gotcha. Well I'm growing doubtful that my shocks are going to be here by this weekend, but probably still gonna be finishing everything else up as far as bumps, straps and brakes on Saturday if anyone wanted to do a mini mod day. I won't be to much help to others, but I have a big driveway and a few floor jacks. I'll probably be using all of my jack stands though.

 

Anybody on here driving on to south campus yesterday afternoon with a green dirt bike in the bed? Silver 2nd gen access cab. Maybe a tube front bumper?

I'm in Vegas right now now for a work conference but I'm headed to Sedona for the first time tomorrow morning. I'm looking for some mellow, cool trails to scope out for future excursions with my brother and his 4Runner, and a few more buddies with toyotas? Anyone have any must see spots I need to hit up?

 

Oh also I only have stock skids and no sliders. So I'm kinda limited on trail gnarliness haha

Yep if you have 4wd and slightly larger tires, anything in Sedona is easy, pretty scenery and fun. When you start trying to run things in 2wd you have some limitations

 

broken arrow is a fairly good trail. btw any trust worthy members going to be near santa ana California this weekend and can buy something and transport it?
