    Just getting started
I just bought an '05 Tacoma access cab 4wd with the 4.0 and 6 speed. I've been a jeep guy and been going to moab for years. Ive lost interest in the rockcrawling and want to get into overlanding and exploring. My question is on lifting and the need for upper control arms.
If I install a 2" lift, will I still need to get upper control arms for the alignment to be within
spec ? Thinking about doing a 1" body lift + 2" suspension. I want to run 255/85/16 tires
on my ride. My truck has factory 4.56 gears with a rear limited slip.
    Thanks for any advice!

Welcome to the forum from a former Wrangler Rubicon rock crawler, though I never went anywhere as cool as Moab.

2" lift will be ok on the factory UCAs. The TRD Baja and Pro both come stock with 1.75" lift on the stock UCA.
