Serious question here-what benefit do you get with headers?

    1. Combined with a cat back, which I will do, you should get 10-15% HP increases. Torque, might dip a bit, but even though I've set up my Taco to handle upwards of 6,500 lbs of tow, safely, I rarely do.

    2. I also plan to install an URD supercharger, and when adding power adders, bolt ons benefit in the power department also.
    3. Cast iron manifolds are HEAVY as hell, stainless exhaust manifolds are a lot lighter and a lot cooler.

    4. I hate how quiet my Taco is. I'm not looking for a "Harley loud pipes racket", but the engine could use a little "personality".

I bought my headers from this same dealer about a year ago. They must have a warehouse full of them, the eBay listing keeps saying two or three pairs left, but it's said that for at least a couple years.
They're great headers though, definitely make a difference with the SC.

I got some Doug Thorley headers on their way for $675 with free shipping from this place. Looks like they cut the price down even more. Probably could get them for $650 otd. They should have ones with the egr valve or be able to order them for you too since, like almost everyone that sells them, they drop ship them so it's not like they selling from their warehouse. @1997tacomav6

I highly doubt you'll gain 10-15% HP increase on a NA. Its probably more like 8~15 HP gain total @ a certain RPM, not overall %. Towards the top end of your RPM, you'll probably see a 3~5HP difference.

Last I check, URD don't manufacture a SC setup for 5vz.

Any how, add the TRD/MAG SC and you'll have fun

10% of sackless is still sackles.s so maybe it's possible lol. Yeah the sc will be what gets you any significant gains with these, but I had ordered some even before I wanted to get an sc. I have an extra set of heads that I'd like to port and polish and a 38 lb flywheel to make up for the adjusted torque curve from the p&p. Now I just need a couple paid months off from work lol.

I completely agreed. With performance mod work while adding other power accessories will peak the gain, but simply adding the header and cat back will not do much.

    happy boosting

I had them on my Ebay cart, for almost a year. I actually saw how the count went from
That 10-15 % number, has been thrown around, since long I got here. I have no way to verify or doubt that number,, but it seems reasonable.

As for URD, you are right, they don't make the puffers, but they do sell them and support them.
