Banning certain members from threads

    I know we seem to have an issue with threads getting temporarily locked due to members not following rules or heading final warnings.. Is there a way to just ban those members from that certain thread instead of needing to shut the whole thread down?

    Also, is there a way to pin certain posts to the top of a thread on each page? I.e. in the NFL thread, Ben posted a final warning. Would it be possible to have that post pinned to the top of each page for a certain amount of time? I mean, I know everyone should follow the rules but we don't live in a perfect world and some members just can't seem to help themselves.

    TLDR: Banning one/some to save the greater good
