    Got it in December 2009.

It has 92,000 miles on it, so only about 13,000 miles per year. That is the least amount of driving of any of my 3 Tacomas. The other two had over 100,000 miles in less than 5 years.

Gas mileage range is usually 14-18 mpg with a rare 19-21 highway (65 mph max or Mexican ethanol-free gas).

I just had the first required smog certificate test, and it passed easily.

The truck has never failed me (no breakdowns or stucks).

A few things have worn out (other than brakes):

*The biggest ticket item was the front hub bearings (driver's side) getting noisy and needing replacement. BamaToy's hub assembly was perfect. Speed Freek did the work.

*The connection for the fan blower motor overheats and needs fiddling every so often (makes the blower only work on the highest speed). This is a weak component and Toyota should fix it, but I don't know of a TSB for out of warranty trucks.

*The Daytime running/ turn signal front right amber light lens cracked and condensation formed inside the headlight plastic cover. That was addressed by Toyota with replacement headlight housings. I guess the plastic lenses don't like having the light on behind it all the time, so the new one is glass, I guess?

So, not very many complaints considering the hard off roading I do down in Baja with it.

I have changed the differentials, transfer case, and engine oil to synthetic (Speed Freek did the work). The automatic transmission fluid was totally replaced just before 88,000 miles (Crom did the work).

As for MODS, nothing major. I did the:
*Rear Differential Breather Mod (easy and required if you cross water).
*The suspension was upgraded to Bilstein 5100s all around and Ride Rite Air Bags in back. Speed Freek did the work.
*The stock 265/70-16 tires were replaced with 1" taller 265/75-16 adding 1/2" more ground clearance.
*A light bar, custom made for my 2005 was transferred to my 2010. I have recently changed the (2) Hella 4000 Spot Beam HIDs and (2) Kragen Driving Beam HIDs (both broke in Baja) with (4) Kree 7" LED lamps (2 spot 2 driving).

I can't think of anything else right now but will add if I do. Please feel free to ask any questions.

Shortly after this post, I was contracted to travel throughout Baja as much as possible to create an adventure seekers Road Guide to help travelers to Baja to know what they may find down that dirt road or if they seek an isolated beach, a cool rock art site or an old Spanish mission. I have made 6 research trips of 1-2 weeks each trying to cover many of the most used paved and dirt roads. Those trips are posted here on TW in the Trip Reports forum (Off Road section). My truck now has over 108,000 miles so most of those 16,000 new miles were made in Baja California. I only experienced a couple flat tires and a dead battery, so far.
I have one more trip to complete my initial project and I will keep you here at TW posted!

Fellow 2010 TRD OR in Silver owner here. I have 138k miles. Similar to you very little in the way of problems.

Had to have a/c Blower connector replaced.
Toyota replaced my headlight units at no charge after having the DTRL melting issue

I have kept up with the maintenance including:
    AT flush
    PS flush
    Coolant drain and fill
    regular synthetic oil changes
    replaced shocks
    cleaned MAF and TB
    Replaced brake pads and rotors

    Very happy with the truck.

I think we just got an exceptional year model, and I am so happy with it.
My front driver's side DRL/Turn signal burned out (I guess) as it went dead and the blinker runs faster to let me know one is dead. Went to Auto Zone and got a new pair (Sylvania, same model as what was there)... and the new bulb has failed (reconnected it 3 times, works until I restart the truck). So, I put the other new bulb in (a 2-pack)... we shall see. Anyone have a bad front turn signal/ Daytime running light issue like this?
