Moved on to installing the shower wand/bar (NOT held on with caulk). Relatively smooth compared to the diverter trim...

Progress... little bit every day. Put the escutcheon on the diverter handle, tightened it down all the way and it didn't move - solid. Installed the vent fan grills and ducts. Tomorrow the inline fan and exterior vent grill.

Not as elaborate as some of the projects ya'll have done, but saw this on Pinterest and got a pallet from my neighbor. I had the 2" screws already so it cost me about 20 minutes in manual labor. This just helps organize all my yard tools. IMG_1842.jpgIMG_1848.jpg

Very nice! Is that going to be a walk-in type shower with no door? That's what we want to do in our master bathroom.

No, it will have a door. I like the idea of a walk in with no door but I would have needed to waterproof the whole bath floor, plus building in a slope for the water gets complicated and expensive. We used it for the first time last night and just taped up a cheap curtain. The water splatter on the floor outside the shower without some type of barrier would be too much.

I'm looking at something along the lines of this type of arrangement. Just need to get some quotes (I'm a bit scared of what those will be!).

Got it. I didn't notice the rain head shower head set up earlier so no, a door less configuration wouldn't work in this instance. Still looking really nice!

I pulled the carpet out of my bedroom yesterday. I will never understand the generation that decided to put carpet over beautiful hardwood floors.

I do too. I'm meaning people that build a house, and put hardwood down and immediately put carpet on it. This house was built in '62 with hardwood and carpet the whole time...so other than the dang staple and nail holes the hardwoods are perfect.

haha no I'm fine with it, if it's nice, but I'll never put it over hardwoods.
