As said before, it was to high. The reason it was high was to not rub and for stance per say. They lowered it 2 notches? If it's rubbing, Cab mount chop is needed, unless you bring it back up one notch, but that depends on feel. You should bring it up one notch, drive it for a little and decide if you want the feel of 2 notches down and look around for someone to do CMC or do it yourself. Or get smaller tires. Pretty simple.

Iv had that set up on my first gen tacoma for about 3 years. Its a cheap lift option. I have mine maxed out on the top notch because when i bought the truck it had 305/70/16 and rubbed like crazy, now it only rubs at full lock when flexed out but rides stiff. My buddy has the same size tires as you and runs the extended length kings which ride a lot better. If your looking for a nice riding lift around 3" then I would scrap it all together and buy King Coilovers or ICON with a lower spring rate.

Well OP looks like you followed many of us down the lift and tires rabbit hole. In due time you will realize that especially with a 4x4 you cannot have it all for cheap. Those are big and heavy tires and in due time you will also realize that they stress your driveline, wheel bearings, brakes and steering rack a lot more especially if any off-roading is on the agenda. They also kill power and mpg if you don't regear both diffs.
If you really need over 3" of lift on a 4x4 your only option is a drop bracket lift. I personally think those suck because they don't increase ground clearance and make you worse off-road unless you're into mudding. Good luck to you and have fun with the learning

could be the tires too. if they are e load that doesn't help the ride quality either. get fox or kings or slap on some 265/70/17s in a sl load
