    Stock, but not for long!
I just picked up a 2000 Regular Cab Toyota 2WD 4 banger. The truck has 63k original miles. It passed smog and my mechanic did a major tune up for peace of mind. I want to give this truck a make over but where should I start? Anyone have any advice on what I should do? If you have the same truck I would love to see some pictures!

Man that is one clean truck and with only 63k! What did you have in mind for a makeover ? Wheels and tires? Suspension?

Thanks man! A lift would be cool but I know it's not 4x4 & it's only 5 lug.

I'm not sure if this thing would look weird lifted with big tires. I want to get some tinted tail lights and headlights but the ones I have found look cheesy. I do want to put a light bar in the bottom slot below the grill. I'm sure people know which one that fits in the perfect and if they make brackets for it. I'm going to be that noob asking a lot of dumb question. I just want people's advice so I do this truck right and not wrong.

My truck being a 4 banger, Lifting the truck and putting bigger wheels and tires on it I was curious on the weight stressing on other components and if the truck gets a lot slower

Level it at like 5.5" off the ground. Tint it out. Put some fat tires on the back. Drop a Pontiac 350 into it...

That's what I was also thinking too. Keep it stock and make it last

Sadly modding is like a bag of potato chips once you start with one you can't stop

if you want something simple, look for some nice 5 lug wheels and decent tires. if you want to make it last long, in your next fluid change, go with full synthetic like amsoil and just up keep the maintenance. I've seen those trucks clocking at over 400k with the right care. as for lights, yeah the only ones that would really be nice are retrofits. if you're a DIY kind of guy, then more than likely that can be your route,

    Like, so many.
You could definitely put some larger ties and aftermarket wheels on that rig. It'll change the whole look.
