:luvya: I had that thing in and ready to roar in a month after the October citrus... It was high angle driveline that screwed me around and took a month to deliver a part they said they had on the shelf. They are still on my shit list for that too lol. I have no excuses now except that I need to get with it in preparing for the north Carolina trip next month :dancingbacon:

That's part of it too, waiting for vendors to ship needed parts. Had you waited until after the Annual Meet to tear apart a perfectly functional truck, you wouldn't have had to deal with the driveline folks spazzing out over the KotH event, forgetting about normal customers, and you would have had all the time in the world to get the truck back in fighting trim (and I might not have went to Hardrock with ya and destroyed the right front corner of the OGT...so that's on you too...J/K ).

Glad you're coming out for Friday and Saturday though. I really wanna see you tackle the water hole on the corner of 15 and 20. I think you're packing the gear to own that hole this time and I've never actually seen anyone make it through.

Haha, well, you helped me fix it anyway so it's all good even if I didn't have only myself to blame. :hattip:

Remember the hole that I, Frank, and Billy got stuck in at the 2016 Annual Meet? The hole I'm talking about is on the same corner, but on the opposite side. We usually just go around it and maybe through the end of it, but I have yet to see anyone go right up the middle successfully. I think you'd have the best chance out of all of us with the 35" LTBs. If it were me, I'd give it a shot. I've been stuck in it twice now, but I'm thinking the only reason that is is because there's a hard clay hump in the middle with deep ruts on either side from guys with larger tires going though it, so I run out of ground clearance with my bitty little 33s and end up with my axles sitting on the hump.

Done. She's the one with the T4R, right? (I'm assuming 4WD as well)

Someone should get some shirts made for those that make it through Billy's Hole.

Should read "I Owned Billy's Hole"

I'd be willing to break my truck to own that shirt.

Can we get one that says "I broke shit in Billy's hole" for the unfortunate losers? I have no idea who Billy is but this is great

I think I know what you’re talking about. I’ll have to think about it. I hate mud and I hate water even more, which I’m sure it’s full of at the moment lol

I've replaced two hydro-locked motors on personal vehicles now. I treat both water and mud like the plague lol

I'm wondering why it's "Billy's Hole"? That hole has claimed a lot of vehicles. Guy Huey destroyed his front axle housing in it (although in fairness, Guy didn't get stuck in it). Tim (The End) did some damage to his girl's T4R in it. Thorny Mike broke his steering rack in it. Frank and I have both been stuck in it...all before it claimed Billy. So why is Billy being singled out? :D

Josh, we have no idea who Billy is either. He was just a random local guy with a Tacoma who ran across Frank and decided to ride with him only to be led to his doom, followed by a dramatic (and very drunken) telling of Billy's tale-o-woe by a completely fubar'd Frank whilst a bunch of us (like ~30) were crammed under Timbo's canopy hiding from the rain. It was pretty hysterical.

I don't think you'll have an issue like that. Yes, it's deep, but I don't think it's that deep. If it gets to the top of your tires, back out of it. I wouldn't hold it against you. It's what I'd do. Just don't pull a Thorny Mike and kamikaze into it. As long as you have your right side wheel well liner still more or less in place, you should be fine.

Haha, I knew that. Just wanted to point out that little nothing hole has done more damage than it looks capable of and has been doing it long before Billy ever got stuck in it.
