Passenger side is fine. 34EB10A8-576C-4C10-B988-8956C7B52A16.jpg10A85F06-C173-486C-A7F2-C99357903C49.jpg34EB10A8-576C-4C10-B988-8956C7B52A16.jpg 10A85F06-C173-486C-A7F2-C99357903C49.jpg 6987C3A2-2BE3-4BFC-B0D3-C852E8866C7F.jpg79E05535-8919-4B60-89FB-493B17119F98.jpgD4CE4AE8-16CA-4E6C-9D68-4F27A08A25FE.jpgD1067AEF-2B95-4EDF-B722-609B97FD8324.jpg77847EFA-F952-4E60-9EE7-9C1940127384.jpg

These are RCD F4-BE5-D558 with OME 883 on 1st Gen DC TRD/OR 4WD. I had the guy that put them on come over and WE fixed them. The top of the coil had slipped off the top rubber pad under the new top hat causing it to bow out at the top thus causing the inside of the coil to catch the top of the shock. Nothing vital was exposed and we simply pushed the cover back in place. But we had a #@$% of a time getting them back in. Even after loosening the LCA and letting it drop away, there wasn't enough room to get the lower shock mount to line up. Had to remove the forward cam bolt to get enough droop to muscle the lower shock mounted back. And THEN after raising the LCA back up, we could not get any threads to show on the shock piston. We had to trim away some of the top rubber bushing/grommet to get enough threads to show. And yes, they are on the lowest (stock) setting.

Does any of this sound normal/common?

P.S. He said he had the same trouble originally when trying to put them back in and attaching the lower end of the shocks.
