Most dealers are going to charge you, unless you happen to be friends with the technician doing the work.

Since I have the tech package, nothing more than the key and programming was required.

I just gotta say I am still extremely happy with my Gibson catback. And nearly half the price of a TRD exhaust. I was all set to buy a TRD locally for $599. Caught a good sale on the Gibson for $334. I figured I would try it and, if it was too droney or whatever, I would just sell it for $300 on CL and go get the TRD. Not gonna happen. I love my exhaust and is just the right tone for me.

I think with exhaust sound, everybody has their own preference and is going for a different sound I believe. I have the TRD catback on my 2011 which to me is very quiet and not a huge difference from stock. I have the MagnaFlow Cat-Back on my 16 it is definitely a little louder but I also have the AFE cold air intake with dynamic scoop, that probably has a lot to do with it. I really like the sound of it though, sounds like a much more powerful truck. I personally think it's a great combination, but like I said everybody is after a different sound.

I agree. Everybody wants their own specific sound. There was a local guy, with a DCLB, that had a Magnaflow with a resonator that he only used 1 week and sold it. He came by and rode with me to give the Gibson a listen. The next day he bought a TRD. I simply wanted a throaty sound that did not sound like a 2 stroke Yamaha. I got exactly what I wanted and am very pleased. Sounds like it has some power to it. Having a 3.5 all you can ask for is the sound of power anyway unless you get an OVTune. The combo with a CAI sounds great. I think you need both on these engines. Another thing is you cannot rely on sound clips for exhaust. I have seen a few locals with the TRD that sound way better than sound clips. I have also seen other brands that sound more tinny than sound clips. So when you buy without actually hearing one up close it is a crap shoot. I think I just got lucky. I suggest anyone in the market for exhaust should try to hear the real thing before you buy.

Finally got around to taking a photo.
2017 Limited DCSB bought in June. Added mud flaps today, have previously debadged, swapped out wheels and tires, with TRD Rims and KO2s, added wind deflectors and paint protective film.

To do list (in no particular order):
    - TRD Pro Grill
    - Bilstein 5100s (missed it that the Limited had such disappointing shocks before I purchased it)
    - BHLM
    - De-chrome fog lights and mirrors.

Looks good! I'm about to lift mine. Bilstein 5100's OME 888 Dakar leafs. I love how 285's look. But seems expensive to get to 285's.

    In the works.
Finally had a chance today to install the rear parking sensors I've had rolling around in my garage. Here's a link to the kit.

Had to first remove the outer and main bumper covers. I don't think I needed to do this, but wanted to make sure I was drilling in the right place. Thanks to @mxwrench for this little write-up.

I went to the dealership and looked at where the OE sensors were on the trucks with the tech package and I think I got them pretty close.

Routed the wire harness up and around the frame and hitch to meet the sensors.

Put the bumper covers back in place.

Got my reverse power and ground from the back of the radio.

Put everything back together and gave it a whirl. Got waaaaay to close to my hatchback Matrix for comfort on this test.

Awesome, I figured I would be fine, even with a phone or 2 plugged into the USBs on the tent. Power is running through a Bluesea distro board under the hood, then to the distro board listed above. I'm sure it'll be fine with a regular 7A fuse or something. I see you're switching to the new Icon alloys over there. Interested in a Vegas trip next weekend? I'll be out that way for some vertical rock scaling.
