    Hey guys,
I just moved to Long Beach and I'm looking to have some work done on the Taco. (Suspension install, wheel/rims, spacers, etc.) Does anybody have a performance shop they recommend to have this sort of work done?
    Thanks

Haha! I know what you mean. I feel like I need to be around a lot longer than this to get the beer and food price. I dont mind paying a bit to have it done.
    Cheers!

Not really, we have a lot of good guys and gals willing to do it for free beer and food  You just gotta ask around the SoCal threads, show up at meets or trail run meets

rocktechoffroad.com in Whittier. Quoted me half the price of some other OC shops for some suspension work. And did fine work.

Best place still is doing it yourself and the pride that comes with it done right by you! I don't trust most these shops to be honest.

Mod days would be my second choice. You gotta get out to the meets or trail runs and network and meet people

For general maintenance check out Mikes on Anaheim or Independent Honda - John the owner has helped me a few times. Tech's Brake, Muffler, and Tire on Anaheim is good too. Tech used to run it but got injured at his kid's birtjday party of all things, but now his brother John runs it and is a good guy. I like the Cambodian guys around that area - they work hard and accurately and don't charge a lot.
