Anyone have any tips on where to start etc?

Going to have to fine tune it obviously but wondering where to start. All the way soft?
    All the way hard?

Figure soft for off road more hard for on road?

That's the best way. Start at slow speed for off road and gradually increase and firm up the slow speed setting. 5-35 mph would be good range for the slow speed setting. For high speed setting start from 40+ mph for the high speed setting.

I just added these to my truck a couple a days ago. Been messing around with em. They came in the middle setting out of the box. Seemed alright.

Then went all the way soft. Drove it around on rough roads. Slowly dialed it all the way to highest setting. It was really hard to turn the high speed (blue) dials at the higher end.

I like middle setting so far. The soft is really buttery but i drive a lot of windy roads at higher speeds so I like it a little on the firm side.

In the end I'll Leave it on the firm side for high speed setting and softer for low speed. Then adjust from there for the conditions as I go off road.

I'm sure I'll be messing with the dials for a while though. It takes some time to test out properly.

did you have any problems with your tires rubbing the reservoir on the driver side at full lock to the right.

No rubbing the resi at all. I have 4.0" back spacing (-12mm offset) on my wheels though.

That being said, I am getting rub on the rear of my fender well, where the mud flaps would be. That wasn't there before. So I'll be looking at my caster and camber to see what's up. Here's my alignment numbers FWIW...IMG_0588.jpg

i didn't get alignment specs printed. but for what its worth I have 0 offset 4.5 backspacing.

And from the thread in third gen section I made concluded the shop mounted the reservoirs upside down. So my 90 on the resi is not at 6 oclock and is more like 5 oclock, and regardless of which its supposed to be at 12. So going to be going back on tuesday to have them correct that.

I figure I could do it but that's their mess up. Let them fix it.

I'm not sure if it's the same on trucks as it is on motorcycles/ mountain bikes but the low and high speed settings have to do with shaft speed, not the speed of the truck. For example, cornering would be a low shaft speed occurance, and you would need to use the low speed adjuster to change the feel. On the flip side, a high shaft speed occurance would be washboard roads, square edged bumps at speed etc, and you would want to use the high speed adjust for those. Like I said, this is my understanding of compression tuning from a motorcycle/ mountain bike perspective.

figured it out though its from the way the reservoir was installed. so going to have the shop that did the install correct it.

I'm running 265 75r16 and from what you were saying I was going to be disappointed going with a 4.5" backspace wheel over a 4" but glad to hear that's an non issue.

How often are you guys doing rebuilds. I was reading through their service says every 10 000 miles if it's 50/50 use or 50 000 if only Street. Given I only get time to get out maybe 2-3 times a month in the summer months and minimal in the winter. And my off road is more crawling than high speed jumps etc. So I'm thinking I can go a lot longer between rebuilds.

I'd recommend setting the DSC fairly far closed. Maybe only 2-3 clicks open on each.

The softest settings (what comes on non-dsc shocks as standard) is waaayyy too soft.

I need to get the nitrogen checked. Cause I'm on softest and it's still pretty stiff
