Hey Phil, if you get south of 210 you’ll have to watch for the traffic when they shut it down to 1 lane. Supposed to happen in the near future. As for moving that way, if you stay in Tx I’d suggest mauriceville/little cypress area as well. When @fajitas21 gets back on he can probably in better on he orange area.

This guy is selling his truck. Just in case anyone is interested. Wish I had enough $$$

$18,000. The truck is well maintained, recently inspected, and has a decent amount of upgrades. Upgrades: Pelfreybilt Hybrid bumper, ATC camper shell, 33" tires with a spacer lift on XD wheels, tractor supply toolbox, tow hitch with wiring, iggy panel, weathertech floor mats, Rigid 20" lightbar in the front bumper + Heise cube lights, Rigid reverse lights, Salex console/glovebox organizers, A/C control knob upgrade, and Panavise phone mount. The only con is the tires need to be replaced soon.

Originally not Expo AF! Kinda Expo AF now...lame.
@phillstill I live in Orange in the Little Cypress area. It's a fine area, but due to Harvey finding a rent house might be more scarce than normal. It's about a 40 minute drive to LC from here, but it's also only about 30 mins from Beaumont, so it's pretty central jumping off point.

Avoid the West Orange areas, but the downside to Little Cypress is houses will be more expensive due to the school district.
    Good neighborhood choices:
    Greenway 2 (where I live)
Oak Creek Village (flooded, so houses might be up for rent or sale soon)
Bear Trails / Chase Ridge (upscale)
    Along Highway 87
Cypress Bayou (nice price / houses there)
Forest Heights (a bit lower end but cheaper)
There aren't really a ton of good apartments in Orange and I haven't lived in them so I don't know of any good or bad ones. Just avoid ones near West Orange.

Not a con if you are picky about your tires and want to select them. Send this to Devin, that's a good looking truck.

    Thanks for the info.

In a few weeks I'm going to make a drive out there to scope out area.
Your right, I haven't seen many rent houses around orange.

I'm also going to check out Moss Bluff north of LC. I've found a few decent looking places there.

I won't be working in LC till mid December so I have a little time to figure it out.

Moss bluff is a nice area, and being north of LC you might have an easier time getting into west lake. The area near the Sasol expansion and I10 is a madhouse in the earlier morning and between 4-6 I’m the evening.

    Is that a question.

    If so, yes.

If that’s a statement, if so, yes.
