Put some epoxy fillets on the inside corners of the roof.

I'll let this cure all day/night then I'll put the roof in storage while I build the rest of the camper box. I'll start getting the walls prepped tomorrow: sanding, cutting laps.

Prepping the panels takes time. Putting them together goes pretty quickly! Then, finishing everything will take some time.

Did lots of cutting and taping tonight.

Lots of lap cuts. Luckily, the core did not want to separate from the fiberglass skins. The side effect of that is that cleaning out the core from the remaining skin on the laps will take some work. Probably some 60 grit on the sander will take care of it. Then everything should fit real cleanly. A couple more panels to put lap cuts on, clean up the core then epoxy together! Getting close to having a box. Then the finish work...

Yeah, this part goes quickly. The finish work will slow it right down.

    Well, here we are:

5 panels epoxied in place! Feels good to finally have something being built. This process goes very quickly. I would've been able to finish the whole thing today if I hadn't run out of epoxy. I have more on order...it'll be here next week sometime. No biggie. I have a few other things that need some attention this weekend anyway.

Hell yeah! Cheap insurance against a couple pieces of tape failing and finding a panel on the floor a few hours later with cured epoxy.

That's looking amazing! It's going good to be such a sweet finished build.

If you've got loads more sanding and finishing to do, take a look at some of the festool sanding setups and mesh abrasives. Big money, no doubt, but it'll save you huge time in cleanup and your lungs will thank you.

Thanks! I'll take a look. Finish sanding is mostly what I have left. I'm going to fair out the camper a bit once the fiberglass is on it to try to hide the glass line. We'll see...

In fairness, they do make really nice tools. But, they are super spendy. For the relatively limited use I put my tools through, Festool may be a bit overkill for me. If I was a pro, I'd certainly consider them! Heck, I almost feel bad for having a 240v Saw Stop cabinet table saw for the hack work I do. Haha! I got it for the safety feature mostly. I've never lost fingers to a table saw but I still don't mind lessening the chance as much as possible.
